Marketing choices

You can ask us to stop marketing at any time. Call or text 07913 407 544 and tell us you would like to opt out. We will action the request as soon as reasonably possible. Service messages about an active order are not marketing and may still be sent when necessary.

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 17 September 2026

About these terms

These terms apply when you order coffee or related services from Round Coffee through this website. By placing an order, you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

About us

Round Coffee is a local coffee brand based at 570 Fosseway, Leicester, LE7 4TF. You can contact us by calling or texting 07913 407 544.

Products and availability

We try to describe and display every coffee accurately. Packaging colours and screen colours may vary slightly. Coffees marked “Coming soon” are previews only and cannot be purchased until we make them available. All products are subject to availability and we may limit quantities or withdraw a product.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed when Shopify confirms that we have accepted the order. If we cannot accept an order, we will tell you and refund any amount paid. Please check names, addresses, telephone numbers and order details before completing checkout.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include applicable VAT where required. Delivery charges, including the £5 emergency same-day delivery charge, are shown before you complete payment. Payment is handled securely through Shopify and the available payment provider.

Local round delivery

Standard local orders are delivered on the next scheduled Round Coffee route day for the customer’s eligible address. Delivery times are estimates rather than guaranteed appointment times. Please provide safe and accurate delivery information. If an address is outside our delivery routes, checkout may not offer local delivery.

Collection

Collection orders are prepared for pickup from 570 Fosseway, Leicester, LE7 4TF. The website displays the expected ready time based on when the order is placed. Please wait until the stated collection time or any readiness message before travelling.

Emergency orders

Emergency same-day delivery is available only where shown and subject to capacity and eligible delivery locations. Orders must be placed before the displayed cut-off. A £5 same-day delivery charge is added to the basket. We aim to deliver by the stated time, but events outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.

Changing or cancelling an order

Contact us promptly by calling or texting 07913 407 544 if you need to change or cancel an order. If preparation or delivery has already started, a change may not be possible.

Where the statutory cancellation right applies to an online purchase, consumers normally have 14 days after delivery to tell us they wish to cancel. Legal exceptions can apply, including to certain personalised, perishable or unsealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons. Returned goods must be kept in appropriate condition, and the customer may be responsible for return costs unless the goods are faulty or we agree otherwise.

Problems with an order

If coffee is damaged, faulty, incorrect or missing, contact us as soon as possible. We may ask for a photograph or other reasonable information so we can resolve the issue. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

Refunds

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank and payment-provider processing times may vary. Original delivery charges are refunded where required by law.

Liability

We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the order was accepted or for business losses arising from a consumer order.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and contact affected customers where appropriate.

Website and intellectual property

The Round Coffee name, artwork, packaging, photographs and website content belong to us or are used with permission. They may not be copied, sold or commercially reused without written permission.

Personal information

We use personal information as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms applying to an order are those in force when the order is placed. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable law.

Contact

Questions about an order or these terms can be sent by calling or texting 07913 407 544.

Good questions. Straight answers.

A little coffee know-how, without the lecture.

Not on a round — can I still collect?

Of course. You don’t need to live on one of our rounds to collect from Thrussington. Always order ahead and check our current opening times before setting off. Not sure when to come? Give us a call or send a text.

Can you post coffee to me?

Yes — good coffee travels. If you’re outside our delivery rounds, order through Emergency Order and we’ll post your coffee to you. Order before 1pm for same-day dispatch, and we’ll text you to confirm. Expect it within a few days. If it hasn’t arrived after a few days, send us a text and we’ll check on it.

What’s the best way to enjoy my coffee?

Your way. Filter, espresso, cafetière or cold brew — if you enjoy it, you’re doing it right. We’re here to offer good beans and a few helpful pointers, not a rulebook. Follow our suggestions or find your own favourite. It’s your cup. We just want to make your day a little better.

What does coffee strength actually mean?

Usually, it describes how bold or intense a coffee tastes, rather than how much caffeine it contains. Roast level, the amount of coffee you use and how you brew all play a part. A darker roast can taste punchier without giving you more caffeine. Prefer a gentler cup? Try a little less coffee or a little more water.

Washed or natural — what’s the difference?

These describe how the coffee fruit is processed at the farm, before roasting. With washed coffee, the fruit is removed before the beans are dried; the result often tastes bright and clean. Natural coffee dries inside the whole cherry and often has a sweeter, fruitier character. Neither is better — they’re simply different routes to a lovely cup.

What is Swiss Water decaf?

It’s a way of removing caffeine from green coffee before roasting, using water, green coffee extract and carbon filters rather than chemical solvents. The aim is to keep the coffee’s character while taking out the caffeine. Decaf still contains a small amount of caffeine, so it isn’t completely caffeine-free.

How should I store my coffee?

Keep it sealed, cool and dry, away from sunlight and heat. Close the bag after each use, or use an airtight container. A cupboard is a good home for your everyday coffee — avoid leaving it open beside the kettle.

Can coffee be too freshly roasted?

Fresh is lovely, but beans also benefit from a little rest after roasting while they release gas. The best resting time varies with the coffee and how you brew it, especially for espresso. We roast every day, and we’re happy to help you find the sweet spot for your bag.

Are tasting notes added flavours?

No. Notes such as chocolate, biscuit or fruit describe flavours you might naturally notice in the coffee. They aren’t ingredients we add. Your brewing method, water and whether you add milk can all change what comes through.

Not sure which coffee to choose?

Tell us how you make your coffee and what you like drinking. Whether you love a bold morning espresso or a mellow mug with milk, we’ll help you choose. Call or text us — there’s no such thing as a silly coffee question.

Not from round here?

Good coffee still goes your way. If you’re outside our local delivery rounds, place your order through Emergency Order and we’ll post it to you.

Order before 1pm and we’ll send it the same day, with a text to confirm. Expect your coffee within a few days.

Got a question before you order? Give us a call.

How your coffee goes round.

Green beans in.

Carefully selected from our favourite coffee farms for their quality, cup scores and tasting notes.

Flavour develops.

Lovely flavours develop inside the drum in just 8–12 minutes. We’re using much less energy than a traditional gas roaster.

Cooled quickly.

After roasting, the beans drop into a cooling tray, where cold air quickly lowers their temperature and locks in those yummy flavours.

Bagged fresh.

The coffee goes straight into our yellow bags, ready to rest and degas.

Roasted here. Delivered to you.

When an order comes in, we grab the freshest bag of coffee and head out on our rounds. Beautiful coffee is on its way to you.
